About Mirit Hoffman

Mirit Hoffman is an attorney with 25 years’ experience. Her specialty is estate planning and elder law, including the complexities of interfamilial and intergenerational ties as well as preparing enduring powers of attorney, wills and trusts.

She is trained and has experience in U.S. and Israeli Tax Law, allowing her to view in totality complex estate matters involving dual citizenship. This includes US gift planning, alternative tax efficient investment vehicles and creation of international trusts, while considering each client’s particular and complex needs.

She is a member of the Global Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and she lectures regularly on the importance of Estate Planning and Enduring Power of Attorney. She writes a column on the relationship between children and their adult parents on various Hebrew news sites and a blog in the Times of Israel. 

About Osher Felicia Haleli

Osher Felicia M. Haleli, Esquire has been practicing U.S. Estate Planning Law and Probate since 1996. Attorney Haleli founded her U.S. estate planning firm in Israel in August, 2007. She practices U.S.-International estate planning and individual tax, U.S. probate (inheritances) and estate administration and tax and renunciation of U.S. citizenship (and relinquishment of U.S. green cards) and relocation to the U.S.

For four years prior to August, 2007, Attorney Haleli was the lead attorney in her own law firm, located in Wilmington, Delaware. There, she practiced Elder Law litigation involving lawsuits over Wills, Estates, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills; Estate Planning; Immigration Law; Family Law and small Civil litigation.

Before establishing her own law office in November, 2003, Attorney Haleli practiced law with firms in Delaware and Ohio in the same practice areas. She was also an assistant Deputy Attorney General of the State of Delaware’s Attorney General’s office.

Attorney Haleli is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Cleveland, Ohio, Bar-Ilan University cum laude and Gymnasia Rechavia, as well as a veteran of the Nachal Unit of the IDF.

While living in Israel, Attorney Haleli has also worked for several nonprofit organizations, as she enjoys contributing to society. Attorney Haleli maintains her law licenses in the states of Delaware and Ohio, as well as in several Federal jurisdictions. Attorney Haleli is registered as a foreign lawyer with the Israeli Bar Association.

About Norman Chait

Norman Chait is the Managing Principal of Nardis Advisors, an independent Registered Investment Advisor based in Scarsdale, NY, focused on building customized investment portfolios for a select group of individuals and families, especially for US citizens living overseas.

He has 28 years of experience in all aspects of the traditional and alternative investment universe.

Norman received an MBA from Columbia University in 1995 (beta gamma sigma), and a Law Degree from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1988.

He served in the Judge Advocate General Division of the Israel Defense Force from1988-1993 and is a graduate of the Israel Defense Force Officer’s School.

Norman is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He is also a licensed Portfolio Manager in Israel under the auspices of the Israel Securities Authority.

Norman moved back t0 Israel in 2016, after spending 23 years in New York, and lives in Zichron Ya’akov.
